Primary
Responsibilities:
Provides a positive first impression of Kitsap Mental Health Services to clients and visitors by extending a cordial welcome and assisting with needs.
Maintains and schedules appointments following agency scheduling policies.
Performs patient registration tasks to facilitate customer service.

, schedule patient appointments, take phone calls, register and update demographics for client accounts).
Ensure positive agency communication by answering telephone calls in a prompt, professional and courteous manner.
Return messages left on voicemail system.
Screens calls, takes messages and provides information.
Answers questions regarding client appointments.
Update the client's billing information.
Process payments and co-payments.
Maintain and manage client's records Keeps the lobby entrance tidy (e.
g.
, picks up trash).
Alerts housekeeping or maintenance of more extensive needs.
Provides direction and wayfinding assistance to clients and visitors Minimum
Qualifications:
Experience:
Experienced (minimum two years of job-related experience) Preferred
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
Coursework in medical/psychiatric terminology.
Experience using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
