do?id=106088 Skookum's mission is to Create Opportunities for People with Disabilities.
We are an AbilityOne contractor that employs people of all abilities.
One in four people in the US has a disability, and the unemployment rate for a person with a disability is nearly double that of the national unemployment rate (12.

At Skookum, we do everything we can to reduce that number and help people gain meaningful employment whether it is inside or outside of Skookum.
People with disabilities are met with all sorts of barriers in daily and professional life.
They might face transportation barriers, mental health barriers, medical needs that they haven't been able to take care of, or social barriers.
This position will help connect them with resources and will provide focused job mentoring.
The member will also help individuals gain financial literacy and job placement.
