About the Role Kitsap Credit Union is hiring a full-time salaried VP, Commercial Lending to work hybrid out of our harborside corporate office in beautiful Bremerton, WA.
This role will lead, plan and direct the commercial, loan production and portfolio management functions for the credit union.

Banking What you will do Lead the commercial lending team to originate high-quality commercial loans Set expectations, coach and evaluate performance of direct reports and team Develop and oversee the implementation of strategies to expand the existing portfolio with loan assets that are structured and priced to meet credit union objectives Work with the VP of Lending and Credit Administration to ensure proper and consistent loan underwriting, structuring, pricing, and servicing of the loan portfolio mix Prepare periodic loan reports and updates, including pipeline status, and statistics of the loan portfolio Produce accurate and timely reporting on individual and over all team performance Evaluate and recommend systems, software, and documentation to provide responsive and professional service to the membership Provide recommendations for changes to products, loan policies and procedures by following all applicable lending laws and regulations.
Develop and maintain documented prospective opportunities.
Provide leadership and oversee training to the Member Business Service Department to develop and strengthen performance Administer the credit union's member business loan program, ensuring desirable products and services are offered to the membership and ensure training needs are met organization-wide Participate in industry-related community activities and business development including but not limited to Chamber of Commerce, Board of Realtors and Homebuilders Basic Qualifications Bachelors' degree required Six years' progressive experience in commercial Real Estate/Commercial Lending with a financial organization Seven years leadership experience Familiarity with commercial mortgage market and underwriting requirements Must be registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System within 30 days of hire and comply with the SAFE Act regulations Experience with understanding and analyzing financial statements and tax returns Our Values Integrity:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
