We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team.
As a Pipelayer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing underground pipelines for various construction projects.
This is a physically demanding role that requires experience in heavy civil construction and knowledge of water and sewer line installations.
Duties:
- Calculate slope and set pipe lasers - Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and depth of pipelines - Install pipes by aligning them properly and joining sections together - Connect pipes to manholes, catch basins, or other structures - Assist with welding and concrete finishing as needed - Ensure the proper compaction of soil around pipelines - Inspect and repair pipelines for leaks or damage
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pipelayer or similar role in the construction industry - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans - Knowledge of slope calculations - Strong physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Note:
